We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant / Auditor

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits of financial statements and records for accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.
• Evaluate internal control systems, identify areas of risk, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Prepare audit reports with detailed findings and actionable recommendations.
• Assist with the preparation and review of annual financial statements.
• Ensure that financial practices follow laws and regulations .
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Prepare tax filings and assist with tax planning and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, policies, and legal requirements.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing processes.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable management.
• Analyze financial data to forecast trends and identify areas for financial optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Professional accounting certifications such as ICAN/ACA ia an added advantage
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or auditing roles.
• Proven experience in preparing financial statements and conducting audits
• Knowledge of tax laws, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.

Salary
N250,000 – N300,000 monthly.
