Job Title: Accountant 

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary

• The Accountant will oversee financial operations within the FMCG business, ensuring accurate record-keeping, financial reporting, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Good knowledge of Importaton documentation and Warehouse / Inventary reporting.
• The candidate will manage budgets, track expenses, and support management with financial insights to improve decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Keep accurate warehouse and inventary reporting
• knowlegable in Importation documentation.
• Monitor budgets, track expenses, and manage cost control measures.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and handle tax filings.
• Collaborate with management to create financial forecasts and business strategies.
• Conduct audits and resolve discrepancies in financial records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in FMCG industry
• 3-5 years accounting experience
• Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is an advantage.
• Proven experience in accounting, preferably in the hospitality sector.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.

Salary
N350,000 – N400,000 / month.
