We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant / Admin Manager

Location: Lagos Mainland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • The Accountant/Admin Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting processes, handling tax issues, bank reconciliations, liaising with auditors, remittance of PAYE, and administration of business activities.
  • The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of working experience and knowledge of taxation.

Responsibilities

  • Accounting Processes: Manage the day-to-day accounting processes of the business, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Tax Management: Handle tax issues and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
  • Auditor Liaison: Liaise with external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure compliance.
  • PAYE Remittance: Manage the remittance of PAYE and other statutory deductions.
  • Administration: Oversee the administration of business activities, including office management and employee relations.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of working experience in accounting and administration.
  • Knowledge of taxation and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
