Job Summary

• Our client is seeking a competent, detail-oriented, and experienced Account Officerto join its Finance Team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial operations, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow activities.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Assist in payroll preparation and salary administration.
• Monitor and track hospital revenue, expenses, and budgets.
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
• Prepare financial schedules and documentation for audits.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax requirements, and internal controls.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
• Liaise with vendors, banks, HMOs, and relevant stakeholders on financial matters
• Support management with financial analysis and reporting.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant accounting experience, preferably in a healthcare or hospital environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, ATS) will be an added advantage.

Salary
N200,000 Gross Monthly
