Job Description

• We are seeking a detail-oriented Account Officer,The Account Officer will be tasked with various accounting tasks, such as recording and reconciling financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and verifying the accuracy of invoices and payments.
• The successful candidate should have a basic understanding of accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Recording of financial transactions and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Reconcile accounts and prepare account analysis and monthly reports.
• Verify the accuracy of invoices and payments and resolve any discrepancies.
• Prepare financial statements and other financial reports.
• Prepare and analyze budgets and forecasts.
• Tax compliance, including preparing tax returns and providing support during tax audits.
• Participate in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the manager.

Requirements / Qualifications

• H.ND/ B.Sc
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting or related fields.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel.
• Knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• He/ she should be able to work with less no supervision
• Professional qualification is an added advantage.

Salary
N100,000 – N150,000 / Month.
