We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Account Officer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Job Type: Full Time

Job Duties

• Posting the daily sales invoices and receipts of all the company’s branches.
• Raising and filing payment vouchers serially.
• Disbursing imprest
• Follow up on retirements for all amounts collected by staff.
• The Account Officer will organise the invoices and receipts for daily sales and send them to the archive at the close of work every day.
• The Account Officer is responsible for discreetly investigating prices for stationery and office equipment and maintaining an updated price list.
• The Account Officer is responsible for processing the department’s monthly stationery supplies according to the company’s policy
• Preparing payments after advice from the Logistic Dept.
• Maintain records of business costs, such as labor and material
• Check invoices for inaccuracies
• Reconcile accounts with the general ledger
• Handle general account queries.

Requirements

• OND in Accounting / Finance
• Minimum of one year experience as an Account Officer
• Applicant must reside on the Island
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Good interpersonal relationship skills.
