We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Account Officer

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

• Effectively employ the Property Management System (PMS) Accounting Module to facilitate the operations of the Hotel.
• Ensure correct taxation are applied on all billing software like Property Management systems (PMS) and Point of Sale (POS).
• Maintains accounting databases by entering data into the accounting program.
• Perform follow-up billing and credit collection documentation and inform Accountant of any potential uncollected accounts.
• Assist with analysing financial statements on a monthly basis and report any variances to the concerned department heads.
• Review and approve all reconciliation and audit work papers.
• Assist with financial audits.
• Assist with preparing corporate reporting requirements.
• Assists with reimbursable invoicing.
• Review the postings, payments, revenue and guest balance reports on a daily basis.
• Reviewing all ledger details guest ledger, city ledger and deposit ledgers to validate proper payment and revenue posting.
• Verify if Debit Card service charge is billed correctly for all POS transactions.

Requirements

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• At least 4 years work experience.
• Adequate experience in Hospitality Operations is required
• Professional Certifications will be added advantage
• Proficient in the use of Hotel Management Software (PMS)
• Must posses a sound data analytic skill.
