We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Account Officer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Preparing financial statements, ledger balances, VAT/tax returns, and providing analysis.
• Acting as a point of contact for financial inquiries and resolving discrepancies.
• Ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulations.
• Managing accounts payable (bills) and accounts receivable (invoices/collections).
• Recording payments, processing invoices, tracking expenses, and posting receipts.
• Regularly reconciling bank statements, ledgers, and credit card accounts.
• Strong attention to detail, Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office, Analytical and critical thinking, Communication and interpersonal skills, and Integrity and confidentiality

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years relevant work experience.
• The preferred candidate must be Lagos-based.
