Job Title: Technical Sales Officer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Reports To: Sales Manager / GM, Sales & Marketing

Job Summary

  • The Technical Sales Officer is responsible for driving sales of the company’s technology products and solutions by identifying customer needs, providing appropriate technical solutions, and delivering value-based selling.
  • The role combines in-depth product knowledge with strong sales and relationship management skills to support business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage prospective clients to promote DreamWorks’ ICT products, solutions, and services (Laptops | ICT Servers | Services & Solutions).
  • Conduct detailed technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers.
  • Understand client requirements and recommend appropriate hardware, software, or service-based solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales & marketing) to deliver tailored proposals and quotes.
  • Prepare bids, tenders, and technical documentation for client submissions.
  • Follow up on sales leads, negotiate contracts, and close deals in line with company pricing and compliance standards.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities.
  • Ensure after-sales follow-up, technical support coordination, and client satisfaction.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as set by management.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • B.Sc Degree / HND in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related fields.
  • 2+ years of experience in technical sales or B2B ICT product sales.
  • Strong understanding of ICT hardware (laptops, servers, networking devices) and software solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Customer-focused with a consultative sales approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; CRM experience is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
