Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced and creative Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team.
• As a Sous Chef, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest quality of food preparation, presentation, and service.
• You will be responsible for managing kitchen staff, maintaining kitchen operations, and supporting the Head Chef in delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and food preparation
• Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently
• Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs
• Develop new recipes and contribute to menu planning
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
• Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented in accordance with the restaurant’s standards

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a reputable restaurant
• Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and kitchen procedures
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Creativity in menu development and food presentation
• Understanding of food safety standards and regulations
• Culinary school diploma or equivalent certification is a plus
