We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Executive (Diesel Generator)

Location: Lagos and Abuja
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Brief

  • Leading diesel generator company in Africa is looking for sales executives who will be responsible for marketing and sales of diesel generators ranging from 15KVA to 1MW.

Responsibilities

  • Key responsibility is to meet sales revenue targets and expand dealer base across the assigned regions and customer segments
  • Manage sales pipeline, forecast monthly sales, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Develop and nurture the sales distribution network; Identity, recruit, and onboard new channel partners
  • Develop positive working relationships with partners to build business. Work with channel partners to help them exceed revenue expectations of the company month on a month basis
  • Regular partner visits and keep them engaged with promotional and branding offers.
  • Stay current with latest developments in the marketplace and competitor activities.
  • Address partner-related issues, sales pricing issues in a timely manner, in consultation with his manager.
  • Plan partner marketing activities such as tradeshows, campaigns, and other promotional activities.
  • Submit daily market visit reports and competition intelligence.

Requirements

  • 4 years+ experience in handling sales of Diesel Power Generators
  • Must have experience in both channel management as well as Account Management
  • Geographical Knowledge
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Self-driven, decisive, and dogged
  • Customer-oriented with strong negotiation skills.
