The Candel Company Limited was incorporated on the 10th of September, 1992 as a Private Limited Liability Company to carry on the development, production, marketing and distribution of agrochemicals, specialised fertilisers, seeds and allied products in Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Agronomist (Technical Sales Representative)

Locations: Yola – Adamawa, Jalingo / Wukari – Taraba, and Zuru / Birnin – Kebbi

Job Description

• Reporting to General/Regional Manager or his delegate, this officer will undertake the pre-sales consultation with distributors to arrange on-farm demonstrations of the company’s products and technologies and follow through with ensuring that the farmers understand the value of such and are able to practice the same on their own with minimal assistance.
• Will work with distributors, stockists and dealers to ensure that such products and technologies are made available to the farmers through such channels at the right time, in the right quantity and price.

Requirements

• Our ideal candidate who should be under the age of 25 years old, would have obtained a minimum of Second Class Honours Degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Soil Science, Agricultural Economics and / or Extension from one of Nigeria’s Universities.
• Our ideal candidate will be comfortable living and traveling in any part of Nigeria.
• Fluency in more than one of Nigeria’s major languages and at least one year’s cognate experience in a similar position will be advantages.
