Job Title: Plant Auto Electrician

Description

• Our client is seeking to hire a skilled Plant Auto Electrician. As a Plant Auto Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment found in construction machinery.
• You will troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, determine the best course of repair, and carry out the necessary repairs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical faults in heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, and graders
• Install electrical wiring and equipment in newly acquired machinery
• Keep records of all maintenance and repairs carried out on equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair electronic control systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on plant equipment to ensure that they are operating at optimum efficiency
• Order and maintain an inventory of electrical parts and components
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
• A basic working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, cutting/welding, mechanicals and other ready- mix related components
• Proven experience as a Plant Auto Electrician with at least 5 years of practical experience within the construction industry
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and equipment
• Knowledge of industry safety regulations and practices
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
