Job Description


Kaiglo is the online marketplace arm of the parent company – Kaiglo Stores limited, set up to assist traders in giving their business a boost in terms of sales and outreach to potential customers. Kaiglo online marketplace aims to improve ecommerce activities addressing issues of trust, reliability and efficiency in the system. Kaiglo Stores limited was founded and registered in 2018 under the CAC act.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Human Resources Officer

Location: Lagos

About the Job

  • We are looking for a skilled HR Officer who will recruit, support and develop talent through developing policies and managing procedures. You will be responsible for administrative tasks and you’ll contribute to making the company a better place to work.

  • The goal will be to provide excellent assistance and support to employees and managers.

Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and Selection: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for various positions. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their needs and ensure timely hiring of qualified individuals.
  • Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they have a smooth transition into the company.
  • Employee Relations: Promote positive employee relations by addressing employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances. Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR-related matters, such as performance management, disciplinary actions, and employee development.
  • HR Policies and Compliance: Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with industry best practices and comply with relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Performance Management: Support the performance management process, including goal setting, performance appraisals, and performance improvement plans. Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance-related matters.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs within the organization and coordinate the delivery of training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • HR Data Management: Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases. Generate reports on HR metrics and analyze trends to support data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications
Educational Qualifications / Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is typically required.
  • Minimum of University Degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience.
  • Good schedule control and reporting skills.
  • Professional certifications such as CIPM, and PHRI can be advantageous.

General Requirements / Skills:

  • Proven Prior experience in an HR role.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze HR data, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Able to receive constructive feedback.
