Job Title: HMO Doctor

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• This person would be comfortable with giving health and insurance advice to patients of all ages; has adequate health knowledge with an interest in driving innovations into improving the primary care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the providers of healthcare networks development and management
• Co-ordinate the Claims Administration team to ensure prompt claims processing and payment are made to providers in line with the organization’s contract with the providers.
• Supervise member service activities and client relationship management.
• Collate report of medical case reviews/audit, present findings, propose improvement plans and monitor strict execution of the improvement plans
• Co-ordinate the Pharmacy Benefit Program (Pharm-Assist) to manage medical cost from drugs (medications) without compromising client convenience
• Manage high level relationships within every healthcare facility to ensure continued high quality service delivery

Requirements

• Medical Doctor with a minimum of 5 years experience
• Must have led a team of ten (10) staff minimum
• Proven track record of achievement and high performance with evidence.
• Minimum of two (2) years cognate experience in a Health Maintenance Organisation (HMO)
