About This Opportunity

  • The Head of Contract Management reports to the MMEA Head of Commercial Management and is a member of the MMEA Commercial Management Leadership Team.
  • In MMEA, the Contract Managers are close to the Customer Units & Global Customer Unit’s and the Head of Contract Management will lead a complex organization with operations for multiple customers, motivate change and inspire and support an experienced Team to achieve “world-class” results in Contract Management.

What You Will Do

  • Be responsible to implement and drive the contract management strategy in Market Area Middle East & Africa
  • Support the contract management team working across Market Area Middle East & Africa: Contract management leads the contract planning, amendment, and management in both the pre and post-signing phases to ensure that contracts are up to date, reflect the current business being conducted, move towards the wanted position with the customer, and manage the contract lifecycle management process
  • Champion the global contract digitalization project in Market Area Middle East & Africa
  • Relationship management: establish and maintain a quality relationship with various partners and key stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Support with complex negotiations within Market Area Middle East & Africa, and advise the contract management team as required on contract matters
  • Align with the KAMs on contract pipeline and be responsible for people dimensioning
  • Define performance and aspirational metrics for the contract management team
  • Provide the planning, status reporting and corrective action for all contract negotiations and contract improvement plans, and log and track contract deviation approvals
  • Champion the E2E Contract Management in Market Area Middle East & Africa
  • Ensure the quality of the contract is aligned with statutory, policy and best practice thereby achieving continuous improvement by working with Legal Counsel
  • Keep up to date with contract management advancement
  • Drive the competence development plan for contract managers in Market Area Middle East & Africa.

You Will Bring

  • University Degree in Law, Engineering, or Business Administration preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in contract management with leading role and commercial / sales operations working directly with customers.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the telecommunications and IT industry in the region and of Ericsson’s operational process.
  • Experience of driving large complex change programs.
  • WorldCC Certification advantage.

You should also have:

  • Technical competence, experience, and strong networks within the Ericsson organization.
  • Hands-on knowledge and experience in contract management.
  • Risk management competence and knowledge of CCLM.
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills
  • Leadership and management skills across cultures
  • Ability to build and foster an inspiring team environment
  • Ability to interact with senior management
  • Highly developed knowledge and skills in leadership, communications, managing change and cultural awareness.
  • Thought leadership in identifying short- and long-term priorities in order to support business needs
  • Standout colleague, a high degree of accountability and integrity, creative and result-oriented, able to work under pressure
  • International Travel is required part of this job role.
