Job Title: Front / Customer service Desk Officer

Location: Ojodu, Berger – Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • Front Desk Representatives are one of the most important roles in improving customer satisfaction and customer loyalty.
  • Often times they are the first contact with the customers, and are responsible for making a good impression and improving reputation.
  • Some of their duties include answering customer questions, offering customer support, guiding and advising customers, keeping the front office clean and representative, following the agendas and scripts.

Job Responsibilities

  • Keep front desk clean, tidy and supplied with all the necessary supplies
  • Greet, communicate with, and welcome guests
  • Answer all the customers’ questions and address their complaints or escalate to the manager
  • Answer all incoming calls, redirect them when needed
  • Receive letters, packages and send them to appropriate unit.
  • Prepare and manage outgoing mail
  • Check, sort and forward emails
  • Manage the social media platform when needed;WhatsApp e.t.c
  • Monitor office supplies stocked and make supply orders when needed
  • Monitor and update records and files
  • Monitor and log office expenses and costs
  • Handle membership payments and complaints.
  • Perform facility tour procedures for prospects and completes prospect interest/needs assessment.
  • Keep all equipment straight and check out when needed.
  • Provide management with daily reports.
  • Undefined work assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

  • OND / HND / B.Sc in a related discipline
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as Front Desk/Customer service or similar role
  • Hands on experience with computer system.
  • In-depth knowledge of office management and bookkeeping
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word)
  • Familiarity with application software
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work long hours
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Customer-oriented mindest
  • Maintain a high level of customer service.
  • Must have a friendly, outgoing personality and enjoy social interaction.
  • Must be a patient, courteous listener, able to show empathy.

Salary
N70,000 – N80,000 / month.
