Job Title: Finance Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• We require the services of a Finance Manager who has worked in the hospitality industry for a larger part of their years of experience.

Job Description

• Be an effective business partner to the CEO, guiding and influencing decision making using financial context as an integral driver to every choice
• Evaluate and coordinate all aspects of the organization’s financial strategy, fundraising plans,
• Budgeting & Planning, Inventory management and capital structure.
• Develop strong understanding of Chef Eros & Co’s business model and industry and be able to use this knowledge to provide an independent perspective and to constructively challenge the operations teams, ensuring that business decisions are grounded in solid financial criteria.
• Identify opportunities for top-line growth and drive profit improvement through product line profitability analysis and benchmarking against industry peers.
• Support strategy development by building predictive modeling, analyzing macroeconomic trends, and incorporating non-financial information, ensuring the strategy can be funded and executed.
• Report business performance against the measures that affect value and clarify what really matters with respect to cash flow.
• Identifying potential emerging risks and impacts through key risk indicators and events and development of appropriate risk response strategies.
• Implement corporate governance and compliance.

Job Requirements

• A University Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• ACA, ACCA or other international accreditation would be an added advantage.
• 7-10 years in Accounting or Corporate Finance.
• Candidates must have worked in the hospitality industry as an accountant or finance manager for a larger part of their years of experience.
