Goldspeed Freight Agencies Nigeria Limited was incorporated in 1991 as a Customs Licensed Agent and has been involved in the provision of clearing, forwarding and haulage services to various companies worldwide. These companies are regular importers of diverse goods including food, drugs, chemicals, industrial machines, raw materials and building materials, electrical fittings and other equipment.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Experienced Driver

Location: Ajah, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Driving clients daily to their desired destinations
• Maintaining the vehicle safe and clean
• Using navigation apps to determine the best route
• Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip
• Pick up clients from the place and at the time they’ve requested
• Assist clients with loading and unloading their luggage
• Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed
• Answer clients’ questions about the area and local places of interest
• Ensure the car seats are clean and comfortable for all riders
• Schedule regular car service appointments and report any issue

Requirements and Skills

• Candidates should possess an SSCE / NCE / OND certificate with 5 – 10 years of driving experience
• A valid driver’s license
• A clean driving record
• Knowledge of area roads and neighbourhoods
• A polite and professional disposition
• Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour
• Must be vaccinated (covid 19 vaccine)
• Trade test is an added advantage.
