Job Title: Consultancy for ESPID Gender-Based Violence Service

Location: Jigawa

Profile of the Consultant (Qualification and Experience)
Consultant applying for this job will be expected to have the below requirements:

• A Master’s Degree in Social Sciences, arts or any relevant field.
• Experience in conducting field-based assessment, designing/reviewing poverty-alleviation, developmental or humanitarian policies or programmes.
• Understanding of the subject area and recent developments on social protection and gender equality in Nigeria.
• Familiarity with the National Social Protection Programmes/Policy.
• Significant field experience in operationalizing policies in a humanitarian/development context;
• Significant experience in coordination, design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of programs;
• Good communications skills.
• Ability to write clear and useful reports (may be required to produce examples of previous work);
• Fluent in English. Fluency in Hausa will be an advantage;
• Understanding of northwest Nigeria political context will be an added  advantage
• Ability to manage the available time and resources and to work to tight deadlines;
• Independence from the parties involved.
