Job Summary

• We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Assistant Manager to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will have experience in procurement and wholesale within the telecommunications industry, specifically focusing on A2P SMS and Voice services.
• This role requires strong negotiation skills, supplier relationship management, and an understanding of market trends to ensure the best possible terms and pricing for the company.

Key Responsibilities
Procurement Management:

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for A2P SMS and Voice services to meet the company’s needs.
• Manage the procurement process from identifying suppliers to negotiating contracts and terms.
• Ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of products and services.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual agreements.

Wholesale Management:

• Establish and maintain relationships with key wholesale suppliers and partners.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve the best possible margins.
• Monitor market trends and industry developments to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure the availability of products to meet customer demand.

Supplier Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster long-term partnerships.
• Address and resolve any supplier-related issues, ensuring a seamless supply chain.
• Regularly review supplier performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

• Analyze market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply chain risks to inform procurement strategies.
• Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost savings.

Compliance & Risk Management:

• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement and supplier management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Graduated no more than 1 year, interested in procurement and wholesale, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
• Eager to learn, and be able to handle leader team’s arrangements and tasks.
• Strong understanding of A2P SMS and Voice services.
• Proven negotiation skills and the ability to build strong supplier relationships.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary
N300,000 – N350,000 / month.
