Job Title: IT Administrator

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• The IT Administrator is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of the company’s information processing system.
• Ensure all the computers, shared folders, outlook accounts, anti-virus software, printers, scanners, time attendance machine, UPS, intercoms, telephones, etc. are maximised, updated and maintained for optimal performance.
• He is responsible for ensuring the company’s database hosted on the company’s server is secure from hackers and viral attacks.
• Responsible for managing the Company’s Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP)
• Managing the Company’s Domain Name System (DNS) and ensure that all systems are connected to the server.
• Management of the Cyber-roam Security Router
• Managing the Company’s Virtual Private Network (VPN)
• The IT Administrator must continuously evaluate existing information systems and services and recommend new ones to improve the structure and efficiency of IT systems in the organisation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in system/network administration including maintenance and upgrades.
• Must have Strong knowledge of networking technologies
• Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of network & server infrastructure.
• Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
• Proven experience in installing & configuring various operating systems – windows laptops & server operating systems is required.
