You should preferably be an admitted attorney, with a strong academic record, and a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience with a law firm or in the corporate environment. When on assignment, you will be regarded as legal counsel/advisor to the client, and in that way must maintain the utmost confidentiality and professionalism. You are expected to dominate the areas in which you have enlisted, being able to offer accurate legal advice and perform tasks in a self-starting manner, with minimum supervision.
Imani is based in Sandton Johannesburg, however, you will be expected to work remotely or on the clients’ premises. You must be available at least 20 hours a week as well as manage elements of the transactions. This is a demanding but stimulating position which will require working outside of normal office hours or travelling in Africa, when necessary.
While enjoying a healthy work/life balance, you will earn a competitive income and are released of the inconveniences associated with administrative requirements. You will thus have the opportunity to develop excellent transaction management abilities as well as exceptional technical skills.
